Zelda, and New Wacom Tablet!!

I would say that I recently got a new Wacom Tablet...but the truth is I got it awhile before this post but I feel like now I've appropriately broken it in...for the most part. Basically I went from a very small 5 year old Graphire to a large Intuos 4. Let me tell you, its worth every penny. Probably one of the most intelligently designed bits of hardware I've ever owned. Anyway, this drawing was me getting in some much needed playing time with the Intuos. Still getting used to all the bells and whistles, but its been fun messing around in Photoshop instead of Maya for a change. So for my first post in almost a year I have Zelda. I've made Zelda look a bit older than she is in Skyward Sword...but I had fun drawing her so whatever.

Casualty of Jackassery...

Ok, so about a year ago I had this brilliant idea to start a blog called "Monthly Pin-up" where, as the title indicates, I would update the blog each month with a new Pin-up drawing...but, as you guessed it, I could not meet the demand of updating the blog monthly. So these two pictures are the remaining few I posted on the now defunct Monthly Pin-up blog that I liked enough to post here...I also have a good amount of pencil drawings that I never posted...I might throw them on this blog at some point. I guess in a matter of speaking the Monthly Pin-up will live on here...kinda...

Gen 13...

Hmmmm...another black and white drawing...maybe a color drawing next time...so here's Free-fall, Caitlin, and Rainmaker...I was listening to Alternapalooza (my playlist of 90's alternative music) and somewhere between Dishwalla and Marcy Playground  I was inspired to draw my favorite mid-90's superhero group...or at least the female part of it. Anyway, I'm going to get back to what I should be doing...

Yeah...not sure why I drew this...I think it was a design for a T-shirt...Since I titled the file Venus, maybe she's supposed to be Venus...sure...

I think I drew this instead of animating...anyway, the seed of this idea was planted when I heard that Samus had a holographic-like suit...which I thought was somewhat unlikely...the holographic-like suit part...not the ultra-powerful mechanized suit that grants the wearer near godlike abilities...
